I made my sisters a couple of handmade gifts for this past Christmas.
Keychain wrist lanyards: I thought this would be good for each of them for dog walking. My younger sister has two dogs and my older sister recently started her own dog walking & pet sitting business (check it out here!) (I designed her logo, too!).
Plus I made them each one of these project bags I love. They are from a Wild Olive tutorial and are great for so many things. I tucked a notebook and pencil in each of theirs.

I made some of these same project bags for a swap about reading that I participated in last Autumn. These have little embroidered pockets on the front for your library card to go in.
The kid crafted some lovely handmade gifts, too, and also participated in a kids’ ornament swap. Here’s what he made:
A sewn fabric bell ornament (one of his first times using the sewing machine) and a wooden candy cane ornament (he dyed wood beads and then strung them on cotton chenille).
