At the beginning of the summer, I picked up a very inexpensive used copy of Memory Verse Motivators by Cheryl Price. It is a lovely book, full of activities to help kids (and adults, to be honest!) memorize some beautiful lines of scripture. The kiddo and I have made a couple of them, like this one from Hebrews. (I photocopied the activity pages onto white cardstock, making them sturdy enough for painting.)
Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have. Hebrews 13:5
I have this hanging in my office at the church I work in, right next to my desk. It does two things: reminds me of my sweet little guy when he’s not at work with me, since we made it together, and it also keeps my priorities straight.
I really love this book for a quick yet meaningful project. We have done some other projects from this book that I will share more of soon.
