I just sent you an email, so just reply back and I will get your goodies out to you! Thank you so much to everyone for entering and for all of the wonderful comments! You are all so lovely.

Welcome to the Wicked Blog hop brought to you by Wicked Wendy and Madm Samm! I’m thrilled to be participating.

I am not into the creepy and gorey side of Halloween; that’s definitely not my cup of tea. But what always makes me think Halloween each year is Charlie Brown & The Great Pumpkin! Have you seen the adorable Halloween themed Peanuts fabric that Quilting Treasures put out? I had to have a panel of it when I saw it on my mini vacation to Maine a few weeks ago!

I took the largest panel and turned it into a quilted wall hanging, full of hand embroidery.

And now some close-ups of the hand stitching, which is pretty much all over the front.

The back is a fun orange and white print, with orange polka dot corners for hanging:

We were lacking something fun & festive for our Halloween decor, and now we are all set!

I also made a super simple apron with the cutest black cat Halloween fabric (reverses to polka dots):

  13. These Peanuts prints are the epitome of Halloween. The Peanuts specials are musts for me at the holidays. I miss Charles Schultz – just knowing he is no longer with us. He left a great legacy. Your stitching is wonderful. And I have a hint that you might like polka dots as much as I do. Thanks for participating and being a great inspiration. You are very generous with your giveaway.

I didn’t even think of it until I saw your post-my sister and I will be visiting the Charles Schultz Museum in Santa Rosa next Wednesday, just in time for Halloween. It will be interesting to see what fabric they have. They almost always have something. I don’t remember specifically what it was the last time, but since my sis is a fan, we go about once a year.
