Last Easter Post

I made the Wee One a bean bag toss game for Easter! It is really cute and was fun to make. I just cut out some cute little chicks and animals in egg cups fabric, paired it with a backing fabric, and stuffed them with rice. Then I made three “targets”– circles cut from fabric and stiff felt. Sewed them together with raw edges exposed and stitched 5, 10, and 15– one number each on a different circle so each one counts for different points. From felt, I made the bunny bag to hold it all in. Β (None of these pictures are good, I know! The lighting was terrible.)

We had a great Easter– church started our day, followed by some family fun with the beanbag toss game, I made some banana chocolate chip bread and the house smelled yummy, then off to G’s godfather’s house for an egg hunt and lunch! The Middl’n and Wee One ended the day with a crazy foam sword fight (thanks to the Easter bunny for the swords). We ate too many deviled eggs and jelly beans… it was a good day!

Hope you had a joyous and blessed Easter!

  1. So cute!!! I’m going to make some beanbags out of some fleece squares I have leftover from another project. Do you know of a good source for different games to play with them? I’d like to make a list to print out to gift with the bags. Just checking! πŸ™‚
