I like to make a little something for my Gram and Great Aunt for each of the holidays, so I was trying to think of just the right the thing to make for them. Then I saw this post from Buzzmills with a DIY for felt daffodil pins. Perfect! I changed the pattern up just slightly, sewing my pin backing on instead of gluing and adding an extra front piece to one so the two pins are slightly different. I also added green leaves. I love them! I think I might make one more for a special Easter package I am sending out this week, too.
The Wee One made them a “stained glass” paper cross for their door or window, plus one for our door. Another perfect Easter item!
I wrapped the pins up in tissue and stuck on an Easter egg the Wee One painted to finish the little packages off. We’ll go deliver the Easter gifts an afternoon this week.
