Easter Egg Paper Stained Glass

The Wee One and I made a couple Easter projects this week. I had been wanting to try one of those paper stained glass projects for a while, so when I came across this one for Easter, we took the leap and made one! I did the cutting with an x-acto knife, then the Wee One tore the tissue paper into strips and attached it to the black cut paper silhouette. For extra durability, I added a second black paper silhouette to the reverse side. This also makes them pretty from both sides when hung in the window. We trimmed the edges and added a ribbon for hanging, then up it went to start making the house look joyous for Easter (and I took one for my office at work).

I think we will make one of these, too.

We also painted a few eggs from this printable that we will cut out and string together into a garland.
