I received word that Mary received the goodies I sent her, so it is my turn to share what I made! It was so much fun getting to know Mary and then crafting for her.
Mary said she preferred stripes to florals or dots, and that she had recently repainted some of the rooms of her house– grey for the dining room and kitchen and then turquoise for the guest room. She also said bags were one of her favorite accessories. So… I made her a zipper pouch with grey and white striped fabric and a punch of color on the inside! Since the swap involved making something with a heart on it, I paired the striped fabric with a sweet bird and heart fabric.
Mary has some lovely grandkids, so I sent some fun Valentine’s Day cupcake liners and toppers, in case she wanted to have a baking session with them. I also sent a fun rubber stamp, a DIY paper bunting (again, could be fun to do with the grandkids or on her own), the embroidery I showed you before (which I finished and made hang ready), and my “Sew something” illustration I drew, since she is a fellow sewing lover.
And best part is, Mary likes everything! Yea! This swap was so much fun to participate in. Thanks to Pink Stitches for organizing it!
