Zipper Pouch Swap: Done!

Here’s the second zipper pouch I made! This one is for a zipper pouch and chocolate swap I am participating in. I love how it turned out! I did boxed corners, lightweight interfacing in between the layers for durability, a little hand embroidery, and a patchwork stripe on the front. My swap recipient said she loves florals, “girly”, and vintage which I think this pouch is! Hopefully she agrees. This pouch is like fifty steps above the last pouch I made and is put together so much better (if I do say so myself).

The patchwork squares are from the collection “Marmalade” by Bonnie and Camille (Moda). I can’t remember what the lining fabric or other floral is.

For the chocolates, I have some Godiva chocolate covered pretzels, Lindt truffles, York peppermint patties, Hershey’s mini bars, and a silly Valentine’s bar of chocolate with a fake money wrapper that says something like “You’re a Million Bucks!” I also threw in one of my paper bunting mini kits and a little zipper bag I saw at the craft store and couldn’t resist (it looks like a cassette tape!).

Here’s the bag full of the goodies:

Now to get this in the mail before the USPS international rates double! (Agh!)
