A Handmade Holiday: Felt Ornaments

I am working on some cute little felt ornaments (which could also be package decorations) for Christmas presents. These are lightweight and small, making them good for when you want to pop a little treat into that Christmas card you are sending (which reminds me I need to figure out our Christmas cards still). I think you might think they are cute, too, so I am sharing the pattern for the first two I finished, a snowman face and candy cane. They use felt scraps and embroidery floss and that’s it! This makes them a low-cost gift, too. You don’t need lots of sewing experience or fancy skills, as the stitches I used are very basic and you could always substitute a stitch you are comfortable with for any of the ones I did.

Here is the link for the patterns and some basic directions.

Let me know if you make some!
