Handmade Sewn Swap! Pt 1

Sew SwapGood Sunday morning! Remember the handmade sewn swap I told you about at the beginning of the month? I had such fun making my goodies for the swap! Since I found out my recipient received her gifts from me, I think it is okay to blog about it! I was matched up with Jennifer at Lil Girl Shop. Her blog is here, her shop here, and she’s on facebook here. Besides being from Texas and loving it, after checking out her blog, shop, and etsy favorites, I could tell Jennifer likes sewing and images of sewing machines with a vintage feel… so, I made her this sewn bag (which holds an e-reader like a Kindle fire, if she has one, or a phone & wallet or sketchbook and pencil… whatever you can get to fit!). [Update: Jen blogged about the goodies I sent her here!]

You may remember in progress shots of these bags.

I also included a couple non-sewn goodies, one made by me:

and one not:

(a handmade with love cling rubber stamp)

I was so glad to hear she liked everything!
And because I know there are lots of sewing enthusiasts out there in my readership, here is a pdf of the “Sew Something” print I made, free for you to download and print! (Personal use only, please.)

Just click here for theย sew something printableย (5×7 inches final size).

I also received some super lovely sewn goodies, which I will be blogging about in Part 2! [Read Part Two here!]
