Okay, so it is late (at least here on the East Coast), but it is still Tuesday! The kiddo is finally in bed, I’ve had a few minutes to my own thoughts, and now it is time to blog! (Sorry, second exclamation point in as many sentences.)
I’m a word-lovin’ girl. Fancy words, antiquated words, poetic words, I love them. Words strung together to make awesome quotes? Ooh, bestill my heart. So, happy late Tuesday, here are a few of my favorite quotations.
“Where you invest your love,
you invest your life.” Awake My Soul, song, Mumford & Sons
“Love doesn’t just sit there like a stone; it has to be made, like bread, remade all the time, made new.” Ursula K. LeGuinn
“I’ll bet you do something important, he said & I said the most important thing was watching while he slept & he said he’d do the same for me someday & we shook hands & decided it was a fair trade.” Fair Trade, Brian Andreas (Story People)
“For whatever we lose (Like a you or a me)/ It’s always ourselves we find in the sea.”
I have way more, but it is late and I am tired, so I guess that is all for this week. Hope you like one or two of the above!
