Is it possible that once a person starts making handmade clothes there is some bug that gets in you and you don’t want to stop? I made one pair of shorts for my son about two weeks ago, then last night I made two more. I woke up this morning thinking about what other fabric I had on hand that I could turn into shorts, plus how it would be fun to make him comfy pants for the Fall. I feel like I have the seamstresses’ equivalent of a runner’s high!
The crazy paw print ones above are made out of fabric G picked out himself. They are pretty zany, but the fabric is lightweight so it is great for summer.
These are the pj shorts I made him, out of a cute monkey/peace sign flannel. (You knew monkeys and peace go hand in hand, right?) He declared these his favorite because they are so soft and comfy.
They are also good for crazy toddler shenanigans.
Do you like to make clothes for your kids? This pattern was really easy, so if you know other really easy little guy clothing patterns, please let me know!
