It’s been a busy last couple days! We’ve been making the most of the nice weather and being outside as much as possible. We had friends over Friday and Saturday nights; did some gardening and yard work; painted the back porch; and also went for a couple walks. I’m hoping a visit to a lake finds its way onto our itinerary for tomorrow. Besides our quality together time, I’ve been working on a website and some print projects for clients plus finally began the Father’s Day goodies I want to make for my shop and the handmade market I am doing Father’s Day weekend at Olana. I cut the pieces out last night and will begin sewing them tonight. Here’s a sneak peek:
They will be a combination of felt and embroidery, framed in embroidery hoops and finished off with washi tape edges. Some will have leaf accents, some stars, some polka dots. The letters themselves will be charcoal grey or this nifty embossed brown felt I have (all eco-fi felt).
Since my dad doesn’t read my blog, I can also say I am making one for him! (He’s not into spending time on the internet.)
I have pictures of a painting project I did with Mr. Baby, but he is begging to get back outside so those will have to wait until later. Enjoy your Sunday!
