Weekly Round-Up

This week I didn’t get half as much done as I had hoped. Sigh. I did spend a really lovely day with the kids and my niece, nephew, Mom, and sister-in-law on Wednesday, which was great. And I am in the process of booking two new design clients (one of whom is insisting on a Union printer– yea! That made me happy).  Creatively, me and the little guy made this bead necklace, using beads my mom made me:

We have also been doing a lot of outdoor play, plus flower admiring. Flowers

On our walks, we look for as many different colored flowers as we can. These are tulips in our front yard, which G helped plant last autumn.

These past two weeks I have been busy with crafts for my sister’s bridal shower, but those are top secret until after April 21st (the date of the shower).

For me creatively, I finished up six mini felt animals for the sets I sell in my shop, mini felt animalsmini felt kittiesmini felt foxesmini felt mice

plus six quilt and pillow sets (one of which I gave to G so I need to make one more), mini quilts 1mini quilts 2

and these little felt hearts with a hand embroidered word on the back. felt heartsfelt hearts backheart in hand

Soon they will have little envelopes to go with them and then I can list them in my shop, too.

We have a busy weekend planned, with a tot birthday party and my sister’s first wedding dress fitting (ooh!), not to mention doing our taxes (I know, I know, they aren’t done yet!) and house projects. What do you have planned? I hope it is the perfect blend of creativity, productivity, and relaxation.
