It is really easy (and fun) to make your own fairy garden houses using natural elements, although it does take a little patience. Here’s a step-by-step photo tutorial so you can make your own house.

Supplies needed:

• twigs/branches/bark/leaves
• twine
• glue
• paper and pencil for sketching
• pruning sheers and scissors (adult supervision required)

Gather your supplies and get to work!

I also made some ladders, which is the same basic principle but quicker. Pick two long and approximately the same size twigs. Lay them a couple inches apart, parallel to one another. Cut your ladder rungs (small twigs). Use a dot of glue to hold your rungs in place, then tie your joints. I used this lovely dyed silk fiber I had for one of the ladders.
